She is known as “Grace’s #1 Fan”! She has been our faithful scorekeeper at the Miami Springs Church Softball League for over 17 years. Her other titles have included: Church Secretary, Bookkeeper, Christian Education Director, Sunday School Teacher, Bible study leader, Discovery Weekend leader, and the official Grace Bingo Caller!
Whether Mary Sue was raising money for scholarships through book sales or selling thousands of banquet tickets or organizing Christmas pageants or keeping us organized for congregational meetings, we always have known that she has done it all with pure love in her heart for her church and in service to our Lord.
How long has she been at Grace? How could we know, as SHE is our Historian! We just know that we would have been lost without her over 40 years of service in our church office. Whether it was comforting those in pain or helping to organize our celebrations, we always have been able to count on her. Mary Sue, we also feel that you are the BEST Italian cook in our congregation!
The GOOD SAMARITAN BANQUET will be held on June 23rd at 5:00 The event is hosted by Lutheran Services FL and profits from a silent auction will benefit youth aging out of foster care (bring your check book!) The event is held at Christ The King Lutheran (11295 SW 57 Ave., Miami (Pinecrest), FL. Tickets are $25 and must be purchased from the Grace Church Office by June 9th.
